Consumer/Dealer Shipping Information
Step 1: Fill out the Service Request Information Form,
print it and enclose it with your unit.
This form is required for all units shipped to Jots for repair. Filling this form out will give us your name, address, phone numbers, and a description of what is wrong with your unit and purchase information along with a valid bill of sale for warranty repairs. . Please note that repairs missing the request form will experience delays and could result in the return of your repair.
Step 2: Carefully pack your unit to ensure safe arrival.
Item should be properly packed in a box that is large enough, with adequate foam, Styrofoam or bubble wrap to protect it from breakage. (If it can't move around in the box, it shouldn't break.) Poorly packed units will be refused upon receipt. If the unit value exceeds what the normal insurance a specific carrier provides, it is the responsibility of the consumer to insure the product for its estimated replacement cost.
Step 3: Payment:
Please enclose a check, or use credit card payment for the diagnostic and shipping fees on “Out of Warranty” items. Jots will then contact you with a total estimate for your repair. With your approval, we credit your diagnostic fee towards the total repair cost, will repair your unit and ship it back to you!
A flat diagnostic fee of $50.00 plus 15.00 shipping and handling is required with all units weighing less than 7 pounds or $25 shipping and handling is required with all units weighing more than 7 pounds.
All “In Warranty repairs” must have the necessary required information for warranty validation, meet manufactures’ conditions, and have a proper copy of a Bill of Sale enclosed in the box. There is no payment necessary for units qualifying in warranty repairs
